Tony Lashley, a linebacker out of the University of Idaho, will transfer as a graduate student to BSU this summer.

Last season, Lashley was named the Vandals’ defensive MVP and earned first-team All-Sun Belt honors, recording 123 tackles.

The Broncos will return all but one starter on defense. That missing piece? Leighton Vander Esch.
